Why Kamayu?
Named for the keepers of the record.
The name comes from khipukamayuq, the Inca officials who kept the empire's records (people, goods, taxes and trade) on knotted cords called khipus, and could recall any account on demand.
Our logo is a single knot tying three strands together: your customers, your work and your support, kept on one record. Say it ka-MY-oo. It's easy in English and in Spanish.

Who's behind it
Kamayu is made by Double Tap Software, LLC, a small software company in New Hampshire that builds its own products and takes on contract work.
Kamayu is our answer to business software that's either too thin to run a company on or too heavy to live with.
